August 22, 2023 | Opelousas, LA – St. Landry Parish Government proudly announces the return of the Third Annual Haunted House attraction in Opelousas.
Following the resounding success of the past two years, this year’s Haunted House promises to be bigger, better, and scarier than ever. Get ready to be spooked and thrilled from October 29th to 31st, every evening from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Location: Yambilee Building, 1939 W. Landry St., Opelousas, LA.
This year, we are expanding our haunting grounds, utilizing the entire Yambilee Building to create an immersive experience that will leave you running out of the building. Our team of dedicated volunteers has been working tirelessly to craft a haunted adventure that guarantees chills, screams, and unforgettable memories.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to bring back our Haunted House for the third year in a row,” said Brittany Babineaux, Director of Events. “It’s become our favorite time of the year, and we’re committed to making this year’s event the most unforgettable yet. This is a family-friendly event, but it might be too intense for younger children, so we are asking that all children under twelve be accompanied by an adult.”
The Haunted House will be charging two-dollar admission at the door per person.
